Watch Out Ladies!

If these 2 are anything like their mamas, Luca and Kent are bound to be fast friends, and by the looks of it, they will be partners in crime (especially when it comes to the ladies!).

TGIS (Thank Goodness It's Spring!)

Luca says "enough already of being cooped up inside. Get me outside and keep me outside!" Here he is exploring his beautiful artwork in our garden - which was an imprint of his foot given to his daddy for his first father's day last summer.

Put ME in the zoo!

We went to Texas with the intention of visiting with good friends, enjoying the weather, and exploring as a family. Our trip was all of this, plus some things we didn't bargain for...sick kids (three 13 month olds mind you), daddies at play, exhaustion, driving headaches... But we still enjoyed ourselves and the opportunity to visit the Rodewalt clan and the lone star state! Luca's first trip to the zoo included a visit to his long lost relatives ~ the monkeys! And boy did he put his monkey sounds to good use!
The more I watched these primates, the more I was truly convinced my child is part monkey!

Ryan was definately feeling "on" today - and what a ham for the camera!
(Jaime, you are looking quite on yourself!)
Luca sharing a bench with a goat in the petting zoo.
Does this picture remind you of "You can pick your friends, you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friends nose?
Just an anatomy lesson I guess...
Poor Sara just wasn't feeling herself that day. Notice the man-made baby "wall" we constructed between the babies. Needless to say, Luca was not meant to be a twin! (He needs his personal space)
Of course we had to sport this t-shirt while in Texas! Thanks to one of Mike's co-workers, Luca was appropriately dressed for our day at the Houston Zoo!

A day of firsts and fun!

Texas included a lot of firsts, including first vacation, first trip down the slide...
(which as you can see was a success and Luca enjoyed every minute of it!)...
First ride on the Merry Go Round...(luca found it thrilling!)
I though it was important to introduce Luca to the art of photographing yourself...I obviously was enjoying it much more than he!
Luca's reaction to seeing his mom and dad kiss~
Midkiss Mike and I turned around when we heard a snicker, and this was his honest to goodness expression!
