Adventures In Potty Training

We've taken the plunge into potty training, and Luca's catching on surprisingly well.
This picture is foreshadowing life down the road 25 years from now (vest, navy socks, a little reading material and his throne)...

King For A Day

On February 14th (I've been having blog issues) Luca had a friends and family birthday party at the DuPage Children's Museum.
He was the most gracious b-day boy you've ever seen! He was patient, happy, and very appreciative to all his guests (pretty opposite of what the 2's have been since then!)

He definately is playing it cool as a 2 year old! No more baby!

I think Ellie and Luca were passing some secret messages through the air tubes...whether it was love notes or ways to sabotage parents as a 2 year old, I'm not sure!

Ar-teest

As the son of a man with the name "Michelangelo" who wouldn't expect this artistic ability?
It takes much concentration to be this good!
Please, let the boy do his thing without any more interruptions.

Happy (belated) 2's!

On Luca's actual birthday (mind you it was Feb. 19....oops!) he woke up saying "It's Luca's birthday!" and sung to himself all day. He then went to Nonnie's for a lunchtime celebration...
where Nonnie put him right to work making his own cupcakes!
Then Luca, Mom and Dad (who weren't feeling all that great thanks to a little stomach bug, but anything for our boy) had dinner at Luca's favorite restaurant, All Aboard Diner.
What a special day it was for Luca! He ended up singing Happy Birthday to himself for weeks to come!

The Doctor is In!

Luca's doing his best imitation of his doc, Dr. Weiss. Maybe it's a sign we've been there too much!
