Or should we call it tortellini day? As you can see, Luca couldn't get enough of the homemade tortellini soup we traditionally have on Thanksgiving. Thanks to his mom, aunts and a few cousins, those tortellinis were the definition of perfection.
The actual Thanksgiving meal was not as big of a hit, but that's ok. Who needs dinner when there is an olive on your finger and pumpkin pie waiting for you?
Not only does he drink his sippy cup from a cuzy, he is also going to be a hit at fraternity parties...I just have this feeling...

Luca thinks that trick-or-treating is like a drive thru...except can someone help this giraffe out with his tail stuck in the door?
Have you ever seen a cuter (or shorter) giraffe? And I think his cute little voice saying "trick-or-treat" got him extra candy!
The problem with trick-or-treating with a 20 month old is that they don't understand the concept of "waiting". Every piece of candy that was put in Luca's bucket he wanted to eat. IMEDIATELY! So pretty much between each house he had a different piece of candy. After this lollipop, we called it quits...it was probably only 6 houses into the night...but a giraffe's tummy can only handle so much!
By the end of the evening, this was one happy giraffe (and one that started walking everywhere backwards with tail in one hand and lolli in another). I think Luca wishes every day to be Halloween! 
Well, these pictures didn't post in the order I asked them to, but you get the jist! Those are 2 mighty fine jack-o-lanterns if you ask me (or Luca!)
Luca was totally into the scooping, and surprisingly he didn't mind the slime. He did only take out one seed at a time, though!

Now that the weather has gotten chilly, nothing we'd rather be doing than get snuggly under a blanket with a snack!
Seems Luca is enjoying my snack more than his own too...(It also seems he needs a haircut VERY soon!)
