Words Without Pictures,

Blogging is going to probably be put on hold for awhile...for a few reasons...
1. We've got a lot going on! New baby on the way. Boy who won't stay in his big boy bed. We're putting our house on the market in the next few weeks. We're building a new house. The list goes on and on.
2. More significantly in the temporary blog hault is the fact that in the midst of decluttering our house to put it on the market and get luca into a new room, we've done a lot of packing. One of the major components to blog, the USB cord for the camera is packed away somewhere in a box.

So, as soon as we uncover where the USB cord is, I will get back to blogging. For now I will be posting little updates, minus pictures.

Adventures In Potty Training

We've taken the plunge into potty training, and Luca's catching on surprisingly well.
This picture is foreshadowing life down the road 25 years from now (vest, navy socks, a little reading material and his throne)...

King For A Day

On February 14th (I've been having blog issues) Luca had a friends and family birthday party at the DuPage Children's Museum.
He was the most gracious b-day boy you've ever seen! He was patient, happy, and very appreciative to all his guests (pretty opposite of what the 2's have been since then!)

He definately is playing it cool as a 2 year old! No more baby!

I think Ellie and Luca were passing some secret messages through the air tubes...whether it was love notes or ways to sabotage parents as a 2 year old, I'm not sure!

Ar-teest

As the son of a man with the name "Michelangelo" who wouldn't expect this artistic ability?
It takes much concentration to be this good!
Please, let the boy do his thing without any more interruptions.

Happy (belated) 2's!

On Luca's actual birthday (mind you it was Feb. 19....oops!) he woke up saying "It's Luca's birthday!" and sung to himself all day. He then went to Nonnie's for a lunchtime celebration...
where Nonnie put him right to work making his own cupcakes!
Then Luca, Mom and Dad (who weren't feeling all that great thanks to a little stomach bug, but anything for our boy) had dinner at Luca's favorite restaurant, All Aboard Diner.
What a special day it was for Luca! He ended up singing Happy Birthday to himself for weeks to come!

The Doctor is In!

Luca's doing his best imitation of his doc, Dr. Weiss. Maybe it's a sign we've been there too much!

Singing Sensation

Luca has many songs in his repertoire, but I will never tire of this oldie buy goodie!
